Are Aeries servers down? ›

Current Clever Aeries status is UP.

There may be several reasons for that: An outage that hasn't been communicated yet via the Aeries Software status page. Some local issues with a small group of accounts on the service side. Technical issues on your side, or problems with your software or ISP.

Users and Teachers can navigate to Student Data > Grades > Report Card History. Parents and Students can navigate to Grades > Report Card History. The page displays a list of all of the Report Card History records that exist for the current student.

When creating a new Aeries Parent Portal account, you will be asked for a VPC (Verification Pass Code). This code is only available from your student's school.

On May 6th, 2020, we were informed that there may have been unauthorized access to the Aeries® SIS on November 4th, 2019 which may have revealed Parent and Student Login information, physical residence addresses, emails addresses, and password hashes.

Aeries supports storing the Add-On Weighted GPAs in the regular weighted fields for each GPA or in a completely different set of fields so that both the traditional Weighted GPA and the Add-On Weighted GPA will be able to be queried and printed.

It may be necessary to check the “Is Grading Complete?” box in your Aeries gradebook for an assessment after a nightly gradebook sync. Even if you checked this box already, you may need to check the box again after a sync. Otus scores will not passback to a closed Aeries grading period.

With the 'what-if' grade calculator feature, parents and students can virtually adjust scores on pre-existing or future assignments and can even create new assignments teachers have not yet added to the gradebook.

When a Red Flag needs to be removed, navigate to the page where the Red Flag is set. Click on the Edit Pencil. Click Delete. A warning message appears requesting confirmation that the Flag should be deleted.

With 'what-if' mode enabled, tapping an assignment brings up the 'what-if' menu. Tap "Edit" to begin virtually editing the score of the assignment. If the assignment has a max value, the editor will appear as a slider. If not, it will appear as an input field you can edit manually by inputting a numeric score.

Within your Aeries gradebook dashboard, click "Manage Gradebook," then "Rules." Click "Add Rule," choose how many low grades you would like to drop from each student's final grade, and from which category you would like the low grades to drop.
