In this role, you will:
- Lead support functions or operations for multiple business groups and contribute to large scale strategic initiatives
- Ensure efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness of solutions, and pipeline management relating to assigned operations
- Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, basic knowledge of organizational strategy and Business Execution, and understanding of international business
- Work independently to make recommendations for support function by providing support and leadership
- Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that may include risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience
- Collaborate and consult with team leaders in developing project plans, policies and procedures
- Provide leadership in management of relationships and implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross functional business partners
- Align projects to management and business strategy
- Integrate vertical and horizontal solutions into the strategy
- Ensure effective relationships among the design team(s) and partners
- Develop root cause analysis and business case for proposed technology, staff and structure changes, including cost estimates
- Establish standards for measuring performance against process requirements utilizing formal process engineering tools and methods
- Ensure development of metrics (key indicators) that provide data for future improvement opportunities
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Relevant Strategy and/or Big 4 Consulting experience
- Financial Services industry experience, preferably Corporate and Investment Banking
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scope and change intensive or process improvement initiatives to successful conclusion
- Demonstrated ability to execute process improvement methodologies with emphasis on Lean principles
- Experience developing and implementing project level processes, procedures and performance metrics
- Bachelor degree or equivalent with major in Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, or similar discipline
- Experience effectively working with a geographically dispersed team
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently, recognizing the significance of competing priorities
- Strong partnering and collaboration skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience with business process mapping tools such as Visio or iGrafx
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Project)
