How Can I Learn More About My Hero?

PvP shooters, like Marvel Rivals, are similar to fighting games because each genre includes expansive rosters of characters, each with unique abilities.
Therefore, we can't cover practicing in Marvel Rivals without addressing how to learn character-specific skills and techniques.
You can learn more about a hero by perusing their profile. Each Hero Profile contains the following sections:
- Overview: This section briefly describes your hero, their difficulty rating, and showcases their character model.
- Cosmetics: This section lets you change your hero's equipped costume, MVP animation, Emote, and Spray.
- Abilities: This section contains your hero's move list and helpful techniques.
- Lore: This section covers your hero's background story.
- Proficiency: This section tracks hero-specific achievements you can complete to earn cosmetics.
For this guide, we want to focus on the Abilities section of your hero's profile.
How To Use The Abilities List
Your hero's Abilities List is an excellent resource to learn about their skills and how to use them. What's more, you can see your hero's abilities in action and the controls for each one! Here is how it works:
- The left side of the screen lists all of your hero's skills. These skills consist of Normal Attacks, Abilities, and Team-Up Abilities.
- Click on the skill you wish to learn more about to reveal a demonstration video on the right side of the screen.
- At the bottom of your hero's Abilities List is their Suggested Combo. This section demonstrates a bread-and-butter combo you can do by incorporating your hero's various skills.
