X-Yachts are clearly a step above - think lead keel, triple spreader rig, Andersen winches, and of course the signature steel frame joining loads from the keel, mast, and rig. The X-43 is a performance cruiser which can be easily handled by two. 'X-Pa't has been optimised and significantly updated for quick and easy cruising.

Rigging was replaced new along with a new mast track and car system in 2023. Much of the navigation gear was installed new in 2020 with new four new Raymarine co*ckpit displays. There are two Raymarine Axiom plotters (2017) with AIS transmit and receive. The auto-pilot drive unit was installed new in September 2023. The main halyard winch had been converted to electric with a new 2 : 1 halyard.

This is a full three cabin / two head layout with master cabin forward. The large practical galley has in-line layout which allows for very comfortable saloon seating and dining table. There is a proper forward facing nav station with additional instrumentation. There are two good sized aft cabins and additional main head / shower.

Additional cruising kit includes:
oCustom 70L fuel tank (200L total)
oWatt and Sea hydro generator
oHydrovane steering system as back up to main autopilot
oSolid safety package with life raft serviced in April 2023
oExcel anchor with 100m chain
o300Ah Lithium service battery bank

'X-Pat' has called Pittwater her home port since launch. She is offered for sale by just her second owners who have used her for both coastal and Bluewater two handed cruising. She is Australian registered which makes a ready option for those wanting to step further into the Pacific and beyond. She was anti-fouled in August 2024.
